Lyte Records has released over 50 albums and EPs from jazz to hip-hop, attracting worldwide media acclaim from Rolling Stone to BBC Radio 1. Founded by MOBO-nominated Northern Irish jazz drummer, composer and hip-hop producer David Lyttle in 2007, we have worked with leading artists from around the world, from up-and-comers Andreas Varady and Tom Remon, to jazz icons Jean Toussaint and Jason Rebello, with a host of special guests from Talib Kweli to Jacob Collier appearing on our releases. Committed to music outreach, we have brought jazz to rural communities and presented workshops on four continents, creating and supporting worthwhile opportunities for the next generation.
