Iconic US saxophonist/composer Jean
Toussaint’s
‘Songs for Sisters, Brothers and Others’, his fourth album with Lyte
Records, is out now. A member of Art Blakey’s legendary Jazz Messengers
in the 1980s, Jean has also worked with McCoy Tyner, Cedar Walton, Gil
Evans and Horace Silver. On ‘Songs for Sisters, Brothers and Others’ he
features fourteen musicians, including Soweto Kinch, Dennis Rollins,
Byron Wallen, Jason Rebello, Mutale Chashi and Ben Brown.
